My Story

I love writing.

 

In kindergarten I wrote summaries of pictures books I enjoyed. In middle school I carried around my decorated notebook filled with poems and spooky stories. And in high school I turned to journal writing and personal reflection. 

 

It wasn't until I attended The Ohio State University that I realized the power of journalism: relaying the timely stories of others in hopes of sparking positive change. 

 

My dedication to the field resulted in an editor's position at CityScene Media Group where I simultaneously managed three publications. I'm also fortunate to have my work published in other Central Ohio publications and online.

 

My skillset evolved further during my time in Tampa, Florida. There I worked for Kerby's Nursery as the social media manager and oversaw its five social pages and two online shops.
